A metallic building with a large glass dome can be seen as we zoom into the offices. A sign reads "Wynn Robotics - Established 1999".
Stephen walks torwards a glass door with bolts on each side. A small IRIS scanner can be seen. "Please Verify Identity" is said from a computer voice as the scanner scans Stephens eye.
Verified... Good Afternoon Stephen the scanner says.
"Good Evening.. this is going to be an interesting day." Stephen says.
Stephen opens the door and goes in, entering a large lab room.
"Hm, what to start on first?" Stephen says.
"Maybe you could see if this new brain of mine works" says a voice from a large video frame across the room.
"Ah, good evening Mr. Wynn" Stephen says.
"Yes, it is good, isn't it?" replies Wynn.
"Since you are the only one in this lab, and I trust you, I must let you know of a breakthrough I seem to have made." says Wynn.
"Breakthrough?" Stephen curiously mutters
"Yes, and quite a breakthrough at that" says Wynn.
"You see, up until now robotics have relied on poor AI systems to perform tasks." "But I have created a system where the robot actually learns tasks and then makes the decision on it's own" exclaims Wynn.
"Amazing!" excitedly replies Stephen.
"I thought you would like it" says Wynn.
"That's why I want you to test it on one of the robots you are working on" says Wynn.
"The technology is still in it's early stages, but someday.. perhaps before the end of the century, we could have intelligent AI in robots." says Wynn.
"That would be amazing" says Stephen.
"It's been my dream all my life.. since I was born in 1971 to right now.. I most likely won't get to see it happen, but people will know we made the breakthrough right here, and that's what matters." says Wynn.
"So, are you up for the challenge?" Wynn happily questions.
"You bet!" says Stephen, now excited to the brink.
"So.. just because I'm a little pumped right now, how about we bet on when this will make it to production.." says Stephen.
"I can't set a date.. this old man you are talking to has gotten rusty on predicting the future of robotics.. but if I could set a date it would be somewhere in the 2080's..."
